The use of Rainwater Harvesting systems in commercial and public sector developments is not only good for the environment, but has a positive financial effect. New Haden pumps Enviro-Pac system collects rainwater, filters, stores and provides this on demand for uses such as WC flushing, irrigation, car washing etc. If you have a large roof area & a high demand for non-potable water it is possible to save on the use of mains water. Rainwater Harvesting enviro-PACWhy use drinking water to flush toilets? Nature delivers an abundant supply of soft rainwater, directly to buildings. Our system collects this rainwater, filters, stores and provides this on demand for uses such as WC flushing, irrigation, car washing etc. Rainwater falling on the roof, is collected by the guttering and drops via the downpipe At the foot of the downpipe rainwater is diverted through a filter to the underground storage chamber Filtered rainwater is stored in the chamber Submersible pump inside the chamber delivers water via a pressurised system to wc’s Overflow to soakaway or existing surface water drain Control unit senses when the water is being drawn and automatically start the pump to deliver the required water pressure Option Filtered water can be pumped into a header tank and appliances fed by gravity feed - This offers the advantage of additional storage & maintains the system in the event of power failure
enviro-PAC main components
Tank GRP underground storage chamber available in various capacities for domestic & commercial applications Shapes & sizes available to suit site requirements Above ground chambers also available Filters Underground filter units divert rainwater in to the storage chamber Excess water & filtered particles continue into the surface water drain Above ground filter unit also available Pumps Submersible pumps are installed inside the storage chamber and incorporate a floating filter Surface mounted pumps usually installed inside an adjacent building Mains top-up unit operates automatically when there is insufficient rainfall
