Fixed & Variable Speed Sets, Optional Suction Break Tanks, Below Ground Space Saving PlantroomsThe Newpac series of packaged booster sets are custom designed to meet individual requirements, as the cost-effective solutions covering a wide variety of applications for cold-water boosting. Each booster set is carefully selected to give high efficiency of operation, incorporating multistage pumps, accumulator vessels and auto-changeover control panels. Compact Booster Sets for many applications Each application has its individual demand criteria. This is why New Haden Pumps offer a design of booster set, adapted to suit the parameters that the consultant and contractor requires. Single,Duplex and Multiple pump sets available in fixed speed operational mode with pressure regulating valves or Variable speed inverter driven operational mode, complete with suction break tanks, all meeting the latest Water Byelaws and British Standards. Our comprehensive Newpac range using WRAS listed equipment, covering flows up to 100 l/s and heads up to 40 bar. Standard or special control panels according to the customers requirements, with a choice of pipework material, flexible connections , anti vibration mounts all factory tested prior to despatch, with installation and commissioning by our qualified & experienced engineers. New Haden ‘NEWPAC’ pump sets, the solution to your problem. Newpac S1 packaged water booster set for domestic and commercial application complying with new regulations The NEWPAC S1 pressure booster set has been developed to provide a cost effective solution to your washdown/irrigation requirements complying with recent changes to the Water Byelaws, which preclude the direct use of mains water in many commercial businesses, and stipulate that a break tank must be incorporated into the system. To restore pressure, a pump must therefore be introduced together with appropriate controls. NEWPAC S1 booster sets can be switched for automatic or manual control. In the automatic position, a fall in the system pressure caused by a demand for water is sensed by the pressure switch which starts the pump. When the demand for water ceases, the system pressure increases and the pressure switch stops the pump. The pressure vessel makes up for small water demands thereby preventing unnecessary pump starts. On a renewed demand the above sequence is repeated. The manual position allows the pump to run continuously, independent of the system demands. All units are supplied with a control box incorporating starter. ‘Hand/Off/Auto’ switch and ‘Pump Reset’ button. However, panels with added features, e.g. VFC for remote, run and trip lamps etc. are available if required. Pump Motor The pump motor is of a totally enclosed fan-cooled squirrel cage induction type complying with IEC standards and matched to pump output. Standard voltages are 220-240V single phase 50Hz. or 380-415V three phase 50Hz. All motors are protected to IP55 enclosure with class F insulation and wound for 2 pole (2900rpm nominal speed) operation. Newpac S1 sets incorporates - Stainless steel pump
