BARBICAN CENTRE

Built in the late 60s, the existing solid diverters taking sewage from the lower toilet blocks were all coming to the end of their working life.

In 2004, New Haden pumps were engaged to design new sewage packages that could be installed in sections within very confined spaces and restricted access.
The problem was solved by utilising SEWPAC SS units with sectional stainless steel tanks, and dry installed pump sets.

Our engineers removed the existing cast iron diverter tanks and installed new pumping systems during a shutdown programme.
