Service Case Studies | | | | | | | ROYAL ALBERT HALL refurbishment in 1999 Installation of new pumping stations, in the refurbished basement area of the Royal Albert Hall. Whilst redesigning the basement of this world renowned auditorium, to facilitate tour vehicles, new pumping stations were installed. Comprising of GRP chambers with heavy duty foul and surface water pump sets and controls, all installed and commissioned by our own installation team. We currently maintain the pumps at The Royal Albert Hall. | | | BARBICAN CENTRE
Built in the late 60s, the existing solid diverters taking sewage from the lower toilet blocks were all coming to the end of their working life.
In 2004, New Haden pumps were engaged to design new sewage packages that could be installed in sections within very confined spaces and restricted access.
The problem was solved by utilising SEWPAC SS units with sectional stainless steel tanks, and dry installed pump sets.
Our engineers removed the existing cast iron diverter tanks and installed new pumping systems during a shutdown programme. We currently maintain the pumps at Barbican Centre.
